A lot to write up today, we’ll try to be as brief as possible. Thanks everyone for coming today. We are doing the “Simons Series” of Mega-BUG matches again this year – so make sure to shoot them all with us.
Thanks and “great work” to Candy, Wendy, Melissa, Jean, and Vickie. Check out the Gun Powder Gals at: https://www.facebook.com/GunPowderGals
~ Look for an “Event” for women (Gun Powder Gals) only to be held here at H2O on Saturday, April 2, 2016. We’ll also update here when all the details are in place.
Luke Apps of Triangle Tactical (weblog, two podcasts) put a Hi-Point C9 through the paces at the match today. Can’t wait for the podcast and write-up! And!, “great work” to you, too, Luke, you did it! https://www.facebook.com/TriangleTactical
Chad Thompson (resume not needed here! https://www.youtube.com/user/Cop9MM/videos ) announced that a “Hands on to Handgun” clinic or class is being put together by Charles Ray Knowles (Martial Arts, Close Quarters Fighting, Defense, Ground Fighting) of Clinton and himself. This will be an intermediate-to-advanced level “defense, fighting, hands-and-handguns” type workshop/clinic. The difference with this “and all of those others”: Participants will learn to “survival fight” (with hands and guns) without getting hurt (no sims-guns, no “protective” gear needed, no “you’ll learn or you’ll get hurt” non-sense). If you have an interest in this, please let us know and we’ll keep you updated as this develops.
The final thanks to Eddie and Erik for the scores, all the SOs and score-keepers, and Shari for everything.
